Our April

We have been keeping busy at our house this month with lots of fun, but of course I don't have any pictures of most of the things we do.
I am currently 38 weeks pregnant and excited for our baby girl to come... soon. :)  I have been having lots of contractions and continue to get bigger and bigger each day. But I have to remind myself that she will come when she is ready I just hope that she doesn't think that ten pounds is ready.

Cora has figured out that there is a baby in my belly and likes to touch it and feel her move. If she puts her hands on my belly and doesn't feel baby sister move she says that the baby is sleeping and says "baby coming".
Cora loves playing with her daddy and loves to tease him even more. Here are a few random shots from the other night, a rare occasion that I pulled out the camera.

Chads work had a great baby shower for us. They are all so nice to bring treats and gifts both for Cora and the new baby. The above picture is a fantastic diaper cake that someone made for us. It was incredible. Each layer is rolled up diapers surrounded by blankets and topped with socks made into flowers, binkys, soap, lotion, toys, and a cute stroller with a baby doll for Cora on the very top. It was amazing.
Below is Cora at the shower enjoying a cake pop.

 Just Cora enjoying the tub.
I know that we have a tiny apartment and that we are going to adding a whole new person into it soon which will make it even tighter but I couldn't pass up an great find at the DI this month. A new elliptical! Chad has been using my mom's or staying late to go to the gym at USU so when I saw this gem for only $25 I couldn't resist.
After Chad exercises he often does push ups and sit ups Cora has learned by example how to do them both. Her push ups are awesome but I missed getting a picture of them. :)

These last pictures are of how long and curly Cora's hair is getting. The longer it is the more curtly it becomes. I love it. Based on the last few days this summer is going to give us some awesome hair days. It seems that Cora may sweat a bit more then a normal child especially on her head. And when she sweats her hair gets really curly :)

Ornery day

Cora started the day off about 2 hours earlier than she normally does. I know I can't complain because she only woke up at 7 but she woke up very ornery. I am saying it is teeth again but if these k-9 teeth don't start popping out like daises I don't know what is up.
It was a rough morning but at about 11:30 I had the sweet pay off of Cora falling asleep next to me. Proof that ornery days and big bellies aren't always bad :)

Sorry for the bad quality pictures but I didn't want to move to much in case she woke up and there was a really bright window behind us. Another great thing about today, who knew Logan could have such beautiful days in March? We love it.

New challenges of a growing girl

Cora is growing up more each day she is such a little girl now, no longer my little baby.  Last night I showed her Photo Booth on our computer and before I knew it she was taking pictures herself. She thought it was pretty funny. I love watching her learn new things.

With all this growing up we are facing new challenges that I would love to hear anyone advise on.
First is nursery.... She doesn't like it unless mom or dad are in there. I know this is common but is there a way to help her like it?

She is also trying to decided if she like one or two naps. We are mostly doing one but sometime she only sleeps for a short time for that one and then is no the happiest little darling for the rest of the day.
Today I needed her to take 2 naps so I put her down for a morning nap and she ended up playing with her baby for over an hour until I went in there and took it away so she would fall asleep, Is there a rule or suggestion as to toys in the crib?  I have let her the past week or so cause she either sneaks them in there or else is really excited to have a toy to play with. It hasn't been a problem until today, and even today it wasn't a problem it is fun to hear her jabbering to her baby and monkey learning to play by her self.

That's really the only problems or questions I have she really is a great baby overall and I just can't help love her silly happy face.

Our Baby

So it has been awhile since I have posted so to update you on the most exciting news first, Our baby.
I am currently 22 weeks and feeling pretty good. This pregnancy has been a bit rougher on my then Cora was but I have been feeling good the last few weeks and just need to remember to stay away from sugar because it makes me sick if I eat to much. You would think that would be easy to remember that if I eat to much sugar I throw up but for some reason my brain has a hard time comprehending it :)

About a month ago we got an ultrasound to see how our baby is growing and it looks like Cora is going to have a little SISTER to play with. We are excited to have another little girl. It also works out great in the fact that we won't have to buy any clothes because they will both be born in May, good news :)

I don't think that Cora understands a whole lot, but she does know that there are pictures of the baby on our fridge and when I ask where the baby is she will point at my belly... or her belly... or anyone's belly. But I think she will be a great big sister.

Here are a few pictures (sorry they are bad quality, I don't know why really.... but better than nothing)

Here is me at 22 weeks

This is our baby girl's feet at about 19 weeks.
The ultrasound tech couldn't ever get a good 3D picture of her face so this this what we did get a good picture of... I guess it may just be her best side (jk) :) Here is her little bum.

The New Exciting Stuff

We have a new little alien growing in my belly and will be here around May 7.
Here's to hoping that it isn't as big as its big sister.

We couldn't be happier and are looking forward to not being sick any more :)
We went to the doctor last week and she said that everything is looking good.

Everyday funness

I don't have a lot else to say since Labor Day except we have been having a good time enjoying the beautiful weather and playing with loved ones.

We have been hanging out in Brigham City folk...

This is Cora helping Grandma Bischoff water her pretty flowers
Smelling the pretty flower. Grandma has such an amazing green thumb

Playing outside of our apartment.
There is a huge cherry tomato plant that Cora loves to go pick a few green tomatoes off and play with. I don't know what is so great about it but it has entertained her for hours over this summer.
She also loves to wear my shoes, if we are inside she puts them on and waves bye-bye and tries to open the door.
This is Cora at the Logan Library the other day. They have a fish tank there that she loves to look at all the fish and just laughs

Conference weekend we had the opportunity to live in luxury. The Bischoff's had a timeshare at the Marriot Mountainside Hotel in Park City. It was so much fun. I went up on Thursday with my sisters Emily and Rebecca and their kids and my mom. Then  my sister Emily Ann joined us on Friday for some swimming in pools like this...

It was great.
Here are Madalyn and Ava playing in the playroom. Again I didn't take many pictures so this is as good as it gets here.
Then on Friday afternoon Chad joined Cora and I and we spent the night there again with more of the Bischoff crew.
Thanks again for letting us participate the the luxury :)

These next pictures are probably Cora's favorite part of the day... Breakfast.
When Cora wakes up there has never been very many fun good morning snuggles, she gets right to business. She wants food!  And does she ever wake up hungry. So breakfast only includes quick foods like toast, oatmeal, eggs, cereal, and pancakes (if the batter is ready and pan is heated up).  I love eating breakfast with her every morning.
This is her favorite meal, pancakes with syrup that she can dip dip in and a smoothy. There has yet to be a morning where she eats fewer pancakes then me. I don't know how her stomach handles it but she really can eat 2 or 3 big pancakes.
The past few days she had been sitting like this, her knees propped up again the tray and squatting instead of sitting. It seems to me like her legs would fall asleep but she doesn't mind it.
