Lots of Cora

We have been going to all the Aggie basketball games, Cora likes them for the most part. Sometimes a.k.a. anytime after about 8:30 she doesn't enjoy them so much. But has been fun to go to the games. Cora loves playing with all her toys you can see most of her favorites in this picture.
Her doll with the bottle- the only word that has an action associated with it is 'kisses', and the doll gets a kiss every time she is played with.
Noah the Arc- Cora cousin Truman gave her this for Christmas, it is so cute, It comes with pairs of wood animals that go in and out of the boat. They are dragged all over the house.
Train- You can't see this one but it is a train that has 3 balls that go around and around, Cora likes to grab the balls as they go around and then suck on them. It presents a problem because there are 3 balls and she only has 2 hands... when she has one in each hand and the last one is going around you can see the struggle of what to do...
The Rings- You can see the stand for these but these are for sure Cora's favorites, She carries them around everywhere! When she wakes up the first thing she does when I set her down in the living room is grab one and crawl around with it in her hands.
The could pretty much be considered a toy... the Cupboard. Cora gets in and pulls out all the bags. and plays with the crock pot and bread maker that are under there. I should probably put more appropriate toys under there. :)
Eating food by her self. Cora loves to feed herself pretty much anything whether it puffs, bananas, grapefruit, paper, string, or tissue.
Again with the cupboard. The look on her face says enough
Playing with Daddy. This was Chad trying to make her happy when she was breaking down one night. She has been having separation anxiety when ever I leave especially when she is hungry, tired, and I walk out of the room or get up from the table to grab something. Its kinda cute.
The other night Chad was doing homework for the Masters of Human Resources that he started this past month so Cora and I went to the DI. And we hit the jack pot, this little table Cora loved it from the second she saw it. And there was a YM/YW group there that gave us a DI dollar! So it was even better :)
Last of all here is video of Cora's newest trick.
I have no idea what it is but it is cute.

And now my blog is officially all about Cora. She is just to cute nothing else really matters. :)

Quote

I read my Friend McCall's blog the other day and she posted this Poem/quote that I really loved.
So here I am putting it on mine.

LEST WE FORGET
She came tonight as I sat alone
The girl that I use to be...
And she gazed at me with her earnest eye
And questioned reproachfully:

Have you forgotten the many plans
And hopes that I had for you?
The great career, the splendid fame
All wonderful things to do?

Where is the mansion of stately height
With all of it's gardens rare?
The silken robes that I dreamed for you
And the jewels for your hair?

And as she spoke I was very sad,
For I wanted her pleased with me...
This slender girl from the shadowy past
The girl that I use to be.

So, gently arising, I took her hand,
And guided her up the stair
Where peacefully sleeping, my babies lay
Innocent, sweet and fair.

And I told her that these are my only gems,
And precious they are to me;
That silken robe is my motherhood
Of costly simplicity.

And my mansion of stately height is love,
And the only career I know;
Is serving each day in these sheltered walls
For the dear ones who come and go.

And as I spoke to my shadowy guest,
She smiled through her tears at me,
And I saw that the woman that I am now
Pleased the girl that I use to be.
