Washington

I guess I should start playing catch up....
So this is Labor Day weekend. On the Wednesday or Thursday before the weekend Chad had a great idea to take a road trip out of Utah. So we decided to go and visit our friends Jordan and Andra in Kennewick, WA.
We left Friday at about 4 and drove to Boise where we stayed the night in a hotel. We got there at about 10, Cora had no idea where we were and was excited/tired/crazy we tried to put her right to bed but it was very unsuccessful... due to the fact that there wasn't anywhere for us to go that she couldn't see us and I was nervous that we would wake other people up.
So at about 12 with much frustration we decided that we would just hang out in Boise the next day and then go home because it would be a good vacation if she never slept so we stayed up for a bit longer until she finally fell asleep in bed with me.

You would never guess that she was crying her eyes out about 10 minutes before this picture, so we decided to let her get in the tub and she couldn't have been more happy.
This is Cora making a mess/exploring the hotel room at about midnight.

The next morning we woke up and decided it wasn't as bad of a night as with thought at the time and that we should carry on! So after a fantastic Continental Breakfast (my favorite thing about vacations) we hit the road.
Cora did great in the car occupied with toys and binkys and treats.
She did great for the most part.... we had our hard times. (this was about 2 hours away from home)

We got to Kennewick on Saturday at about 3:00 then hopped in Jordan's Car and drove to Portland... hindsight- dumb idea. If the drive there wasn't enough we added a 6 hour drive (3 there/ 3 back) to see Portand for about 1 hour.
It was a long day lets just say that.

Sunday was great. We went to Kennewick ward and then had a nap due to the back sleep that was due to a cute baby girl .... :)
Then went and walked around the Kennewick Temple Grounds it was beautiful.
Monday we got up early and headed back home.

It was a good trip but it is nice to sleep in your own beds that everyone is use to :)

I didn't many/any pictures except this one of Cora and Chad in Portand.
