Family and Friends in October

In October we were lucky enough to have Grandpa Phillips come visit. He brought some pumpkins for us from Walden and carved one with the girls while I went to a meeting. The girls loved having him come and still talk about the fun they had, carving a pumpkin, getting a treat, and just having grandpa around.

 

In August Cora's Aunt Lexie gave her an American Girl doll and has loved it every second since.

 

We also had to play in some leave. Our friends the Yarborughs were kind enough to invite us over to play in their huge leaf pile and swing it was great fun.

A sad note was that our good friends the Mechams moved to Utah but luckily it is still close enough that we can still visit :)
